Invitation to tender Grounds Maintenance Contract
The Council invites expressions of interest and bids for the provision of a comprehensive grounds maintenance service including grass cutting, litter and dog waste collection, landscape, hedge, shrub and tree maintenance from suitably experienced and qualified contractors.
The successful contractor will undertake such works throughout the Parish starting in April 2014. The contract is to operate for up to 4 years.

Chairman's Report from Councillor Harry Warburton
Landscape improvements to Statfold Lane with new trees and benches commemorating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, similar benches are also at Watersmeet, Fradley South and Streethay.
Planters have also been set up in Fradley and Streethay with bedding being done twice yearly to brighten up the area.
Raised funds for the 7th Lichfield Scouts, First Responders, Midlands Air Ambulance and Lichfield Soroptomists from the Community Day held at Streethay Play Area on 30 June 2012 when the Olympic Torch travelled through Streethay. Grants made to local organisations over the year included St Stephen's School Fradley, Fradley Youth and Community Centre, Lichfield District Play Scheme and the Fradley Village Hall.
Councillors and staff thanked for their hard work over the year and gave particular thanks to District and County councillors for their continued support to the parish and to the LDC Grounds team for maintaining the area to a high standard.
No 7 Bus Service problems being experienced by local residents with no shows, breakdowns and reduced timetabling. The council urge those residents who have experienced problems to get in touch so their complaints can be sent to the county council and the bus company Arriva.
Verge side parking in Fradley South was still an on going issue and the public called for more parking areas in the locality and if the green space areas could be converted for parking to assist residents park safely, removal of poorly designed traffic islands and chicanes was also demanded.
Guest speaker Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Arnold gave an informative presentation on the role of the commissioners and their recent work undertaken to make efficiency savings and introduce modern technology to assist policing in staffordshire.
